For my ipad lesson i chose to do a relationship portrait. I chose to do my portrait with Alivia. I chose her because she is one of my best friends. I decided to cut to only cut out our sunglasses because I still wanted her to be in the picture. I chose to have the sky as the background because it is bright just like her. I did a second portrait because i had enough time to. I chose to cut out the go-hawks in our t-shirts. I changed it to a sparkly gold background. I chose to change that because we both play volleyball and basketball together and we have so much fun doing it.

I really liked how you chose to do the Go-Hawk because it really stood out and it was related to our school. I also liked how just chose to erase the sunglasses because it had that summer feel to it.

I really like how you decided to do the sunglasses instead of her whole body because I think it shows your relationship more. It blends into the whole picture and doesn't take the spotlight. On your Go-Hawk shirt photo I like how it's simple and doesn't draw the attention away from you two. Love both projects, good job!

I liked how you took your favorite sport and had a silhouette playing volleyball! I also liked how you put your name in your logo. I think this really shows what you like to do. The ombre affect that went around your silhouette was really cool! Amazing job Katie!

Hi Katie, my name is Heather, I am in the art education class that helped present these lessons to your class. You pieces are fantastic! I find the idea of just working with pieces of the picture work really well. My question is why did you choose gold for the ones on the shirt? You explained why you chose the shirts themselves, but why the use of gold? I also like the use of black and white for both images as it enhances your cut out pieces with that small pop of color. My other question is for the sunglasses are those two seperate images in each pair of sunglasses or was it all one image? It's not bad I was just curious behind the creating of the final product. Overall, these images are great and really show off how you two are really great friends.
